I installed Boldbeast on my Nokia E73 Symbian S60 v3 fp2 and used it to record a few phone calls I initiated. The recording started automatically and recorded the calls but when I played them back the recording had some choppiness and missing audio which occurred when the conversation overlapped such as when I or the other person would talk before the other person stopped. Is that normal
When recording with the WAV format + high sampling rate, the phone need to process huge data. If the CPU is not powerful enough, or the sd card is not fast enough, you'll find "some choppiness and missing audio".
Please use AMR format which is processed by a hardware chip inside the phone, it generates much less data and the recording is very well. If you use WAV format please set the Sampling Rate to "Low" or "Medium", this works well also.
Thanks.
