I can access the SD card with File Manager.

In App Settings>Clip Savings Folder I can see "/sdcard/com.boldbeast.recorder but this folder doesn't exist on the SD card.

If I go to the parent folder I see the following
data
sdcard
storage

But "sdcard" seems to be a pointer to "Internal shared storage".

Any ideas?

All phones have the "/sdcard" folder.
On old phones the folder may point to a removable sd card. On recent phones the folder may actually point to the internal storage. It's different from phone to phone.
