Does rooting the phone resolve the "loss of recording" issue when muting during call. It is mentioned in other posts that if rooted, Boldbeast can correct for this issue. Please explain how, if rooted, this would function during the call. Would Boldbeast simply notice and correct for the mute/unmute action or would the caller have to initiate a fix during the call?
Is there another simple solution to this terrible problem? Need a fix, thank you.

You are talking about the problem described in the post #12 in this topic: https://www.boldbeast.com/forum/topic14 … to-g5.html
Generally, after root the phone please enable the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Change Audio Controls" option in the app, then the app will automatically fix the problem at once.
Galaxy S7 has many variants. If the problem is still there this indicates the Recording Parameters Database inside the app still has no related information about the phone, in this case please
- Enable the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Change Audio Controls" option.
- Use Boldbeast to record several calls to let it generate log files.
- click "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" to send new log files to me.
- I'll change the Database according to your log files to support your phone.
