Hi,

I find that my boldbeast recorder is recording now, but it does not finish the recording, after about an hour + recording of lectures, it stops and in my file explorer i have files named:  boldbeast_working3, boldbeast_working4, etc


Battery optimization is off for the android system. What is the cause of this? It's been happening to 4 of my lecture recordings and it stops after 30mins for a 2.5 hr talk

Boldbeast Recorder itself has no limit of recording duration. Android has no such limit also.
You can record as long as you want, it's limited only by your disk space.

If what you said "it stops after 30mins" is true, I guess your phone specially has extra limits (or added by a third-party app) - it doesn't allow a background process to continuously work longer than 30 minutes, maybe for the sake of saving battery. This is just a guess, because we have never received similar reports from other users.

Please click "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" in Boldbeast Recorder to send log files to me, let us have a look at them and see what happened in your phone. Thanks.
