Hi there, I have a Nexus 6p with root access (Root Checker and other apps confirm this), but when I run BBRec many of the record modes are greyed out, including 'Alsa Mode' which I understand to be the correct mode for the Nexus 6p. Any ideas? I've already tried reinstalling the app.

You are using "Android 7.0", is it right?
Android 7.0 changed something inside, Boldbeast Recorder V8.6 fails getting root access. We are developing V8.7 at this moment.

No I'm still on Marshmallow, although I will probably upgrade to Nougat soon

Marshmallow don't have the problem. Please test again.

Ah I found the problem. For others reading this, I had to go to: Call Settings | Fix Recording Issues | Enable Rooted Options
