Hello,

I have a Nexus-5 (rooted with Lollipop 5.0) and APP is working perfect, except when I activate the MUTE button.

When MUTE is activated the APP stop recording both channels: Mic channel (which is ok) but also the incoming channel (this is the problem). When I am in a conference I usually go mute no to add noise to the chat but I want to still recording.

Could you please tell me what are the parameters I need t change to fix this?

Thanks a lot!

After click the Mute button, please:
- click the Speaker button to route the audio to the speaker, then click it again to route the audio back to the earpiece. Or
- stop recording then start recording again.

I have this problem with Nexus 6 - didn't realize I had this problem until I tried listening to some older recordings.
I'm pretty sure with prior version of Boldbeast and/or prior custom ROM used in the phone that did not have the problem -
but, on latest version of Boldbeast (8.6) and PureNexus 6.01 based on AOSP, whenever I mute mic, no audio is recorded.

Like others, I use mute often when in a conference call.

I tried doing the click speaker button then click it again, as suggested in above reply - but this does not work - audio is still not recorded.
I tried stop and restart recording, and I think this does work - however, it is not a very practical solution as it creates a new file/recording on every restart, and, if the call is un-muted/re-muted, recording stops again which would means that re-start recording must be done every time there is a change of muting....

When you click the mute button the ROM should mute the microphone only, so call recording will not be affected.

However, when you click the mute button some ROMs not only mute the microphone but also change other audio route, and the route is wrong. If you stop recording then start recording again Boldbeast Recorder will fix the wrong route to the right route.

I'll investigate it further more, when you click the mute button if Android notifies Boldbeast that "the mute state has been changed", then Boldbeast can fix the wrong audio route immediately.
