Hi,
I've tried to use boldbeast and other recorder with no success on this ROM with Nexus 5X and Samsung Galaxy A5 2017.
I'm rooted with MAGISK (Last Beta/Last Canary) installed callrecordingfix module and tried every Alsa settings.

Files are created but empty.
Start input is not available on A5 2017 (but is available on my Nexus 5x).

I've got same problem on both phones.

Now that you have installed the CallRecordingFix module, in Nexus 5X Please use these settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: Alsa
- File Sampling Rate: Auto
- Alsa Device: Device0
- Alsa Bits: 16 Bits
- Alsa Channels: Auto
- Alsa Sampling Rate: Auto
- Fix Recording Issues - Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Fix Recording Issues - Start Input Stream: Yes


In Galaxy A5 2017 please use these settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 1
- Fix Recording Issues - Tune Audio Route: Group1
- Fix Recording Issues - Change Audio Controls: Yes

Hi,
Settings on Nexus 5X are working fine but not working in galaxy A5 2017.
I've disabled google voice.

No recording saved? Three possible reasons:

1. Another recorder is working in your phone. Please disable it.
2. OK Google or Bixby is working in your phone. Please disable them.
3. You are trying to record wifi calls. Wifi calls can't be recorded, no matter what recorder you are using. Please disable the wifi call feature in your phone.

Only these 3 reasons.
No other reasons.

Records are empty (tried on smartphone earpiece + speaker) and PC.

1. No other recorder installed.
2. Ok google not activated and bixbt not installed.
3. Samsung A5 2017 with  pixel experience not working with VOWifi or Volte in france

Can you please click "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" in Boldbeast Recorder to send log files to me? Let us have a look at them and see what happened in your phone. Thanks.
