Hello. I'm new on this forum. I hope you can solve my problem
I got Xperia X compact. It is a rooted device.
On this device the other side caller voice (recorded) is distorted.
This issue is only with "normal" call, I mean with blutooth or speakerphone everything is ok.
I've already tried the solution for Nexus 5X but it does not work. There is no option "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode: Off" on x compact.
I MUST find a solution. I have 6.0.1 Android version.
Do you think editing some value in mixer_path.xml can solve anything?

Thx in advance!

Xperia X Compact F5321 uses the Qualcomm MSM8952 chipset, the chipset has more than 1400 audio controls in the audio driver. The mixer_path.xml file can change a small part of the audio controls.

I believe all 1400 audio controls can't fix the problem. This is the reason why there is no good solution in the market so far.
Most possibly there is a proprietary Qualcomm method that can fix it, but we don't know it.

Thankyou. Is there anything to try to edit that audio controls? The issue is with phone headset only. No issue with earphones, Bluetooth or speaker phone. That makes me crazy. I don't want to change this phone for this reason only...
X compact has msm8956.

X Compact F5321 uses the MSM8952 chipset, I saw it from the audio driver, so it's 100% right. You can see it in the /system/build.prop file also.
At this moment there is no good solution in the market to fix the problem.
