I have the Moto Z Play, Model XT1635-02, Android 7.1.1, with these settings
- Record Mode: 1
- Tune Audio Effect: No
- Tune Audio Route: Group3
But Boldbeast is not recording incoming audio. Please help. Thanks
EDIT/UPDATE: I was able to get recordings to work perfectly by enabling root options and setting the following:
After root please use these settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 1
- Tune Audio Effect: No
- Tune Audio Route: Group3
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: No
- Start Input Stream: Yes
Moto Z Play Android 6.0.1 and 7.0 don't need root, just install Boldbeast Recorder and go, it records calls perfectly.
Moto Z Play Android 7.1 was released several days ago, we have no feedbacks from other users about it so far. According to your test, it seems Motorola changed something so root is needed? Need more users to confirm it.
