Hello, I am interested in getting the full version since this seems like the best call recorder on the market, but I am having trouble recording the files.

Frequently BB Call Recorder is telling me there is another app running which is recording the audio, however this is not the case since I've removed all other call recorders. Furthermore I have also disabled the CyanogenMod Audio Recorder.

Here are the hardware logs: https://mega.nz/#!zsZCHb4B!fFkornpeAXNg … YIf60v9VZg

I could get it running with the default settings, but the audio sounded like it was of very low encoding quality. I then tried with root and these settings - https://www.boldbeast.com/forum/post3050.html#p3050 - but that caused recordings to record only 3s of silence.

I have: CM 11-20150614-NIGHTLY-i9100 (Android v4.4.4)

Thanks in advance.

=> I checked your log files, the MediaServer in the ROM works unstable, sometimes it fails to start recording. This makes Boldbeast thinking "there is another recorder working that blocks me".

=> Some versions of CM ROM work well, some not. Users reported the "cm-11-2014-NIGHTLY-i9100" version works perfectly, if possible I suggest you use this ROM.

If I change versions I would like to upgrade instead of downgrade. Is the latest LineageOS - download (dot) lineageos (dot) org/i9100 - something you would recommend? Or do newer Android versions limit phone recording in such a way that older versions are preferable?

//edit: Especially since CyanogenMod ceased to exist.

//edit2: I now installed the latest nightly of LineageOS on my i9100 (lineage-14.1-20170621-nightly-i9100-signed.zip), but the problems became worse. I managed to grant BB recorder root perms and I set SELinux in permissive mode. However, recordings now sound like they have very low sampling rate (despite manually setting WAV sampling rate to 44.1KHz).

I then tried to upload the log file, but unfortunately I can't find it in the dir:

How should I proceed?

There is no feedback from other users about LineageOS for Galaxy S2 GT-I9100, so I have no information.
Please click the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" item in Boldbeast Recorder, click Next, the hardware_logs.zip file will be generated, then send it to me. Thanks.
