Mute disables recording.  Following doesn't work:

1. Turned on speakerphone, turned off.  Recording stayed off.
2. Turned on phone mic, turned off.  Recording stayed off.

Can this be addressed?

ZTE ZMAX PRO uses the Qualcomm MSM8952 chip.
It's obvious there are bugs in the ROM, no matter what recorder in the market you are using the problem will always be there. When you switch the state of the speaker or switch the state of the microphone, the ROM changes the audio route incorrectly, this is the reason of the problem.

- If you normally use the phone,
  No root needed, just use default settings in Boldbeast, it records calls crystal clear in two sides.

- If you need to switch the state of the speaker or switch the state of the microphone during a call,
  . If you don't root the phone, no solution in the world to fix the problem.
  . If you root the phone, Boldbeast can fix the problem.
