Huawei P9 Lite please use these settings to record calls:

- Record Mode: 1 or 5
- Tune Audio Effect: No
- Tune Audio Route: Group3

It records calls clearly and loudly in two sides.

If you have upgraded to Android 8.0 old versions of Boldbeast no longer work. Please update Boldbeast in your phone to the latest version (currently V10.8), it works great.

Everything works fine with default settings after installation for the P9 Lite. Both me and the other part is recorded and sounds great.

However, after some time (day or two) something happends. I have not changed anything in the app - and the other person in the call sounds very low.

Temporary solution? Settings > Reset Default Settings. And then both me and the other person sounds good again. And then after a few days, its back to the other person sounds low. Then you have to reset default settings again.

In short: It's an bad loop of procedure.

I am just testing this software out. And if all is good, I will buy a license. But for now, as the problem above is stated I am not sure.
is this something you can look into?

If you need a test-person with P9 Lite, I am happy to help out debugging if needed.

Any thoughts about this, @boldbeast ?

I believe the problem has nothing to do with "Set Default Settings".
Instead, please check if your phone has this problem described in [004] in this page http://www.boldbeast.com/android/call_r … ting.html.

Suggested settings in the post #1 above work well.
If your phone is running Android 8.0 please update Boldbeast Recorder in your phone to V10.8.
