Hi everybody,

I have a rooted Honor 8 phone and would like to record the calls, which I make with bluetooth headset. I already enabled the root options, so now if I make a call, I can hear the voice of called party on the recording, but mine will be only recorded by the built-in microphone of the phone, so it is very low.
Could you please suggest me a settings, with which I could achieve to hear both sides?

Thank you very much!
cheers,
Andras

There is a bug in the ROM of your phone related to bluetooth recording, no matter what recorder in the market you are using the problem is always there.

Boldbeast Recorder can fix the problem. After root your phone please enable the "Change Audio Control" option in the app, then you'll record calls perfectly in two directions via bluetooth. The option is visible only after you root the phone.

Thank you for your answer.
Yes, I am already using the "Change Audio Control" option of the program - this is why I rooted my phone earlier.

With the option I achieved to record the voice of the called party, during a call with bluetooth headset.
But the recording of my voice still isn't working (only the built-in microphone records it -> too quiet)

Is there anything else, which I set to get it work?

Can you please click the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" item in Boldbeast Recorder to send hardware log files to me? let us have a look at them and see what happened. Thanks.

I checked your log files, please change following settings in the app, then it works well:

- Call Settings - Incoming Calls - Auto Detect Answered State: Yes
- Call Settings - Incoming Calls - Auto Detect Max Time (Seconds): 4 ---------> change to 100
- Call Settings - Incoming Calls - Restart Recording Upon Answered: Yes

- Call Settings - Outgoing Calls - Auto Detect Answered State: Yes
- Call Settings - Outgoing Calls - Auto Detect Max Time (Seconds): 4 ---------> change to 100
- Call Settings - Outgoing Calls - Restart Recording Upon Answered: Yes
