Android 6.0.1 please use these settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 1
- Tune Audio Effect: No
- Tune Audio Route: Group3
- Tune Samsung1: No
- Tune Samsung2: No
- Tune Samsung3: No

Recorded calls are crystal clear in two sides.
Confirmed by Samsung Galaxy A8 SM-A800F, SM-A800I, SM-A800YZ etc.
