(1) If your T-Mobile Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 phone has Samsung KNOX inside, please uninstall KNOX to use following settings to record:
- Record Mode: 24
- Record Format: AMR
- Tune Samsung 1: No
- Tune Samsung 2: No
- Tune Samsung 3: No
- Tune Audio Route: Group3
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: Yes
- Start Input Stream: No

(2) If you don't uninstall KNOX, please use following settings to record, it works well also:
- Record Mode: 4
- Record Format: AMR
- Tune Samsung 1: No
- Tune Samsung 2: No
- Tune Samsung 3: No
- Tune Audio Route: No
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: No
- Start Input Stream: Yes

Some users said indeed Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 (T-Mobile, MetroPCS) doesn't need root, just use following setting to record calls:

- Record Mode: 4
- Tune Samsung 1: No
- Tune Samsung 2: No
- Tune Samsung 3: Enable Group1
- Tune Audio Route: No

I have model SGH-M919V. I live in Canada. Can you please provide the correct settings for this model without uninstalling KNOX?  I tried the settings above and it didn't work for me.

Where do I find the settings to change Audio Controls, Audio Driver and Start Input Stream or are those menu options only available if I root the phone?

on my USA T-mobile Galaxy S4 SGH-M919

The recording of MY voice gets really distorted when I talk loud.  Is there a way to tune this?  When I tested using your built in memo  recorder my voice was perfect-  even when I talked very load or yelled.

But on phone calls, when I am talking the recording of MY voice is incredibly distorted when I talk slightly louder.

I there a way to fix this?  People hear my voice normally on their phones during the call.
