To transfer recorded files from the old phone to a new phone, please do it this way:

STEP1: Copy recorded files
---------------------------------------------------
- connect your old phone with your computer via a USB cable, copy all recorded files from the old phone to your computer.
- connect your new phone with your computer via a USB cable, copy all recorded files from your computer to the new phone.

STEP2: backup/restore database files
---------------------------------------------------
Boldbeast Recorder uses a database to save information of recorded calls. When you install the app in your new phone a new database will be created but it is empty, as a result in the Call List screen you can't see old recorded calls copied from the old phone.

However you can backup the database from the old phone then restore it to your new phone to fix the problem. The database is inside the "/data/data/com.boldbeast.recorder/databases" folder. You can use the "Helium Backup" app to backup/restore the database.

STEP3: change options in the app
---------------------------------------------------
Please check the "Clip Saving Folder" option in the app, if needed please change it accordingly.

Thanks for your answer, but the data directory is empty :(

EDIT about Helium Backup:

read on the wiki :

"Helium is NOT available to Motorola devices..."

My old phone is a MOTO G
My new phone is a MOTO X Play

EDIT2

Finally all was working nice using the registered (pay) Helium !

Thanks.

EDIT 3

Grrrrr....

"This is the FREE VERSION" !
And when I want to transfer again the licence I got :
"Error[33] NO NEED TO TRANSFER"

5

Please open the "About" screen of Boldbeast Recorder in your new phone, click the Restore button, the app becomes the PRO version at once.

It work !
Many thanks.

No matter what kind of smartphone you want to transfer to, you had better back up your records before you start to transfer.
Sometimes a third party phone transfer app will be helpful. Because such a kind of app will usually have no restriction on file types that you want to transfer. Hence you can easily transfer data from old phone to new phone with a data transfer software.
