I had boldbeast working fine. I could record (or not) simply by pressing the button during a call.

However since my phone was upgraded to the lollipop o/s all that pressing the button during the call achieves is a message which asks if the call is still on going.

How to I get back to where I was before this unhelpful change?

I am using the Samsung A3

Please click the "Set Default Settings" item in the app to set all settings to default values and test again.

Please click the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" item in Boldbeast Recorder to send hardware log files to me, let us have a look at them. Thanks.

I checked your log files, there must be another recorder working in your phone.
Please uninstall all other recorders and test again, it works well for your Galaxy SM-A300FU phone.
