Galaxy Xcover 2 GT-S7710 can record calls in two directions without root, using Record Mode 4 in Boldbeast Recorder.
Most users are using Android 4.1.2 ROM. Unfortunately we found there is a bug inside the ROM - the built-in MediaServer works unstable.
How do we know it?
We checked the GT-S7710 Android 4.1.2 ROM, so we know it.
How to know it's true?
No matter what call recorder you use, the result is the same - when you first power off / power on it records calls well, but after record several calls it begins to fail to record calls.
What does Boldbeast Recorder do when it fails to record calls?
When it fails to record calls Boldbeast Recorder tries at most 5 times to restart recording, if it still fails the app gives up.
How to fix the problem?
Please upgrade the ROM to a newer version, for example Android 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 ROM if possible, maybe Samsung has fixed the problem in the new ROM.
