You can test these settings step by step to know what settings work well for your HTC phone:
Settings1:
- Record Mode: 4, 5, 1 (test one by one)
- Record Format: AMR
- Tune Audio Route: Disabled or Group3
if Boldbeast Recorder can't record calls well, go to test Settings2 bellow.
Settings2:
- Record Mode: 4, 5, 1
- Record Format: WAV
- Tune Audio Route: Disabled or Group3
if Boldbeast Recorder can't record calls well, go to test Settings3 bellow.
Settings3:
- At this point I'm afraid no recorder works well for your phone without root. So you should root your phone.
- Record Mode: 4, 5, 1 or Alsa mode
- Tune Audio Route: Disabled or Group3
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: No
- Start Input Stream: Yes (if visible)
if Boldbeast Recorder still can't record calls well, go to test Settings4 bellow.
Settings4 (for old phones having MSM7227, MSM7627, MSM7227A, MSM7627A, MSM7625, MSM7225, MSM7625A, MSM7225A, MSM8655, MSM8255, APQ8055, MSM7630, MSM7230, MSM8660, MSM8260 chip inside):
- Record Mode: 34, 33, 31 or 32
- Tune Audio Route: Disabled or Group3
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: Yes
- Start Input Stream: Yes (if visible)
Settings4 (for newer phones):
- Record Mode: 24, 23, 21 or 22
- Tune Audio Route: Disabled or Group3
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: Yes
- Start Input Stream: Yes (if visible)
if Boldbeast Recorder still can't record calls well, please click the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" item in Boldbeast Recorder to send hardware log files to us, we'll check them and update the Fixing Database accordingly to support your phone.
