Boldbeast Software → Boldbeast Call Recorder → Settings for rooted Samsung i9505?
I'm currently using:
Mode4
Tune Samsung 1 on
Tune Samsung 2 on
Tune Samsung 3 Enable Group 1
Tune Special
Change Audio Controls on
Change Audio Driver on
Sometimes the call recording works, other times it causes the call to become silent - both me and the other party can't hear each other at all.
Please disable Tune Samsung 1, Tune Samsung 2, Tune Samsung 3 and test again.
Tried that, doesn't seem to work very well...
Outgoing calls seem to work fine, but incoming calls have no sound.
Please install the latest version of Boldbeast Recorder, try these settings:
- Record Mode: 4
- Record Format: AMR
- Tune Samsung 1: No
- Tune Samsung 2: No
- Tune Samsung 3: No
- Tune Audio Route: No
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: No
- Start Input Stream: Yes
Still doesn't work properly... Intermittently calls will be totally silent, both sides can't hear each other. Seems to happen more often with incoming calls than outgoing calls though.

The settings I suggested above have nothing special, they can't cause this problem. It seems the problem is inside the ROM.
Are you using a third-party ROM? or
Have you allowed other apps changing built-in files? (Boldbeast Recorder never changes any built-in file in your phone)
